So much great stuff! The worldbuilding, Attolia's dread at the enabling of conspiracies, Gen being like a moth to the flame, did you just oh my god Gen, this line: "Irene thinks crossly later, it hadn't been that much of a kiss anyway." (she's great. i love her.) and the ending was so lovely, I melted.
