Lake Shore Drive is closed; Kali and her friends are the only ones walking near the frozen lake. For once they have nowhere to go and no one to avoid, but for the others it feels powerful, knowing that the storm cannot keep them trapped inside any more than human rules have tried to.

Kali watches the thundersnow drift, not quite sure what to do with herself in a world where her strength is not the most impressive force to be reckoned with.
