Jonathan laughed softly from where he was seated under a bar stool, a shower of broken mirrored glass scattered around him, and Steve breathed out a sigh of relief at the sound. There were flecks of abrasion scattered across Jonathan's face and arms, but if he was laughing it couldn't be that bad. "Well, we are in a bar. And nobody got eaten. That's sort of a win, right?"
"Only because they all ran screaming," Nancy interjected, kicking the last of the monsters over with her toe and holstering her gun. After a moment of consideration, she leaned over the bar and came back up with three longnecks hooked between her fingers. "At any rate, I think we've all earned a beer, don't you?"
