Practice does make (closer to) perfect! My sympathies! I still haven't repaired my upper oven but with an oven thermometer I now know that 175 C in the oven (350F) is 220 (425F) on the dial. it took me a long time to get accustomed to convection as well, which is not a standard feature. I was also going from a gas oven to electric. Good luck!!
