Yep, that old, gosh, it really does take that long to thaw a big bird. I remember once drooling into a mince pie filling by mistake. woops. And really, after that episode with burning the sugar 4 TIMES I really try to be careful about how much I drink whilst actually cooking. I've never tried to do it all while hungover. But heh, if you're among friends, it will all keep a day, surely?
